Special conference - Welding in the plant and tank construction
The special conference "Welding in the plant and tank construction" is a traditional event which takes place in spring in Munich.
The aim of the event is to take up and discuss important and current innovations and findings in the field of welding in the tank and vessel construction.

A part of the lecture topics are discussed under the supervision of the lecturer in the "experience exchange in working groups".
The discussion results are published in the magazine „Schweißen & Schneiden“ and the lectures are published the the conference transcript by the publisher DVS Media registered association.
General Information
The special conference "Welding in the pant and tank construction" takes place with great success in Munich once a year in spring since 1972. In the last four decades we carried out the conference at various event venue as the university of applied sciences Munich, at the Gasteig or the european patent office.
Because of spatial circumstances the conference takes place in the Künstlerhaus at the Lenbachplatz in Munich since one decade. The average number of over 300 participants reflects the great interest and the acceptance of the experts in this field.
The special features of this event are, next to the expert lectures in the morning, the working groups in the afternoon, in which the expert lectures and further current topics are being discussed.
